I need your help to find a cure for arthritis!

Hi! My name is Hannah Joe Peace and I am 8 years old. I am on the honor roll, I love to play with my three sisters, cousins, and I love to play soccer! I am just like any other girl my age except I have arthritis. Yes, Kids get arthritis too. I was diagnosed over one year ago. One day my mom and dad noticed that my knee was very swollen and they took me to see my pediatrician. I had a MRI test and then saw an orthopedist. He had to draw fluid off my knee. This was very painful and I screamed while my mom and dad held me tight. That was when they found out I had JIA and sent me to Charleston to see Dr. Ruth. I see her in Columbia every couple of months. I have arthritis in both of my knees. I am using a lot of medications to help my arthritis. including, Naprosyn, Methotrexate injections, and I am about to start using Enbrel injections. I take Prevacid and Folic Acid pills to help my stomach because sometimes the medications makes my stomach hurt.I really don't like taking the shots because they hurt and sometimes they make feel bad but I know I need to take them to help me. The shots lower my immune system so I have to wash my hands a lot and avoid people that are sick. I have my blood drawn every three months and I have gotten use to it. My parents and grandparents tell me how strong I am and how proud they are of me for being so brave. So now I want to Walk to help let other people know about arthritis in kids and to raise money for research. Please help me by donating money and come walk with me in Columbia May 30th! We will have lots of fun!
